On May 15, 2026, students from The Salon Professional Academy Battle Creek stepped beyond the classroom and into the community with one powerful purpose — to serve, uplift, and give back. During the Lunch & Learn Event at the Veteran Resource Center, our students proudly provided complimentary haircut and massage services to veterans and community members, creating a day filled with compassion, gratitude, and connection.
This event was more than offering services. It was about honoring those who have sacrificed for our country and reminding every guest that they are valued, appreciated, and cared for.
With every haircut, our barbering students helped restore confidence and dignity. With every massage, our massage therapy students offered relaxation, comfort, and healing. What may seem like a simple service became something much deeper — a moment of human connection, kindness, and support.
The smiles shared throughout the day spoke louder than words. Veterans left feeling refreshed, appreciated, and empowered, while students gained something equally meaningful: the realization that their future careers have the power to positively impact lives every single day.
