Celebrating diversity in the treatment room
At The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA), we believe that skincare is for everyone—every tone, every texture, every identity. As we celebrate Pride Month this June, we’re shining a light on inclusivity in esthetics and why it matters now more than ever.
Skincare isn’t just about pampering—it’s about empowerment. When people feel seen, heard, and cared for in the treatment room, it can be a life-changing experience. That’s the kind of beauty culture we’re proud to help build.
Every client brings their own unique skin story. From melanin-rich skin to acne-prone concerns, from transitioning individuals experiencing hormonal shifts to clients battling texture or discoloration—customization is key.
TSPA’s esthetics students are trained to:
Many LGBTQ+ individuals face healthcare and beauty spaces where they feel judged or misunderstood. At TSPA, we’re proud to be a safe, welcoming space for all. Whether a client is exploring gender-affirming skincare or just wants a relaxing facial without assumptions, our students are taught to lead with compassion, not labels.
We also celebrate the LGBTQ+ voices in our student body. Many of our future estheticians bring their own stories, perspectives, and passion into the treatment room—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Inclusive skincare means:
It’s not just about the products we use—it’s about how we treat people.
Whether you’re a client or a future esthetician, you belong at TSPA. We’re proud to be a part of an industry that’s evolving to be more inclusive, more compassionate, and more real.
This Pride Month and every month, we’re committed to creating space where everyone can feel confident in their skin.
All services are performed by senior students under the supervision of licensed instructors.
